How we found Happy

Once upon a time, in an orphanage far, far away, there lived a little girl.  Due to her diagnosis of Cerebral Palsy, Happy was destined to be cast off to a mental institution where she would have been hidden away, forgotten and alone.  Several families had gone to adopt Happy, but alas, none of them were meant to be her family.

One day, thanks to modern technology, Snow White came across Happy's face on Facebook.

  

Snow knew at once that Happy was her daughter and immediately began sobbing.  You see, for years beforehand a picture of a smiling, little blonde girl would occasionally pass through Snow's mind.  She didn't know why and never really questioned it.  Although Snow and Prince had been pursuing adoption for quite some time, they had never set out to find this little girl whose precious face was coming to Snow more frequently and more clearly each time.

Snow and Prince prayed for many days.  One night Prince had a dream.  When he awoke, he didn't remember much of the dream, but he had one thought in his mind..."We must go rescue Happy."

And so they did.  Paperwork began almost immediately and within 3 1/2 months Prince Valiant and Snow White left behind Doc, Sneezy, Sleepy, Dopey and Grumpy and dashed off to rescue their damsel in distress.  It was a long 5 1/2 weeks spent in a distant land, but in the end, Happy was rescued from her dire circumstances and was finally brought home to her rightful castle.
